User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100915 Firefox/4.0b7pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100915 Firefox/4.0b7pre If I leave Minefield into background for sometimes, when I try to restore it to foreground the window(s) doesn't appear anymore; it seems that Minefield is still running correctly (if I close it and then reopen it there are no sign of a crash), but the window content isn't drawn! Maybe is a problem with hardware acceleration? Sometimes I can see artifacts over some controls (e.g stop/reload button or awesome bar) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use minefield 2.Use other programs, so Firefox windows remain on the background 3.After some times (10 minutes) try to restore Firefox to foreground Actual Results: Firefox windows doesnt' return to foreground, but Firefox is still running correctly, in fact I can close it using the menù from taskbar: when I reopen it the session is restored without any problem
I've just discovered another another way to reproduce the bug: simply locking the screen (windows key + L)
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Summary: Sometimes Minefield doesn't restore when main window is into background → Sometimes Minefield doesn't restore from background
I experience the same issue, but only on WinXP sp3 (I run the daily build minefield on WinXP, Win7, Linux Ubuntu 10.04 & 10.10). Maybe it is related to an Intel graphic card. When ffx launch, the screen is black. Try to click on the "Minefield" button, then the screen start to refresh (only what is redraw). Type Ctrl+space for example, to force Ffx to refresh all the UI. Like said, after locking/de-locking Windows, the same issue appeared again. Before 2010/09/15 (or somethings like that), this bug didn't exists.
I think the problem is more general because I've an Nvidia card, however in my pc the issue disappeared two or three days ago after installing the latest nightly build... P.S. even the artefacts have disappeared
I still have this problem: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100922 Firefox/4.0b7pre My graphic card is an : Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family Driver: c:\windows\system32\drivers\igxpmp32.sys (6.14.10.4873, 5.51 MB (5,779,296 bytes), 29/06/2010 11:30) Is there any way to give you more informations? like a log file.
This bug seems to have disappeared since "Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100929 Firefox/4.0b7pre". For me, you can close it.
