597123 - Forward/Back buttons busted. Can't check for updates

In the latest nightly, the forward and back buttons aren't working (e.g., when I follow a link, the back button still stays grayed out, and alt-left doesn't bring be back a page).

Also, Help -> Check for updates has disappeared.  I presume it's that button in the Help -> About Minefield dialog? (http://people.mozilla.org/~catlee/sattap/b1489360.png).  Pushing that doesn't do anything.

Can't reproduce the problem with back/forward. Try in safe mode, as it most likly is cause by an extension.

Check for updates... looks like its been moved into the About dialog?? That's where i found it at least.

So, having tabs-on-top seems to have broken my forward/backward buttons.

I have all my addons disabled currently.  In safe mode about:addons shows them all disabled, and the Check for Updates button in the About dialog is there.

Outside of safe mode, about:addons is blank and the Check for Updates button is still busted.

Looks like FoxyProxy didn't get disabled when I asked for all extensions to be disabled via the safe mode dialog.  Disabling FoxyProxy brings back about:addons, and Check For Updates.
