Often times it is after a crash, but not restricted to one. Firefox Beta 4-6 resets my navigation and toolbar to not include buttons from add-ons. Sometimes even, I can't even put them back because they're often times not listed in the menu of buttons. Randomly, they just come in and out of existence.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Firefox
2. It randomly crashes OR just close it regularly
3. Sometimes buttons restore to default on the navigation bar. There is no pattern.
Actual Results:  
Right now, I'm at the default toolbar/navigation bar without my Feed Sidebar, Clear Fields, and Undo Closed Tab buttons.

Expected Results:  
Not have restored to default.

Hi,
I am also facing a similar issue. I have Windows 7 Enterprise, with FF 4.0b6. 
When I start the browser after a reboot (or sometimes just randomly after a restart of FF 4.0), the toolbar buttons are reset. I move the Stop/Reload buttons to the right of the address barand add the "Tab Groups" button to the toolbar. When I restart FF4.0, the stop/reload buttons are moved back to the left of the address bar and the tab groups button is not visible. I have to customize the toolbar once again. There is no fixed pattern to this,except that there is a high chance it might occur after a system shutdown/restart.

Hello,
I don't know if anyone is following this issue or not. I have recently installed FF 4.08bpre and am facing the same issue as above. 
Additionally, whenever I start the browser, it first installs an update (I believe it is the same update as Minefield 4.08bpre) and then resets my toolbar layout. 
This is very frustrating.

Hey,
I'm on FF 4.0b8 & I guess I'm having the same issue here.
Starting FF, right click, customise toolbar, restart Firefox -> Random layout with the "Home" button at the right of the search bar, the "Sync" button disappears..

OS : Windows Vista Home Premium
Hope someone will work on this bug.
