The Yahoo! Media Player doesn't works on latest version of Firefox 4 beta 6. It worked in previous beta versions except the latest one.

It looks like developers don't care about this issue. But for some time ago I saw in a forum where developers of Yahoo! Media Player promissed to fix in their codes when Firefox 4 reaches to RC or Final.

So let's wait and see..

Go to http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/ and click "First Link".. You will notice that the .mp3 file open in new window instead of opening in player. :-)

Still not works in Firefox 4 Beta 12.

reporter: i have no idea how you managed to bypass the guided form, but here's what you needed to write in order to get any useful traction in your report:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. load http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/
2. in the "C" section, click "First Link"

EXPECTED RESULTS:
a. media player opens at the bottom of the page
b. audio starts playing

ACTUAL RESULTS:
a new window opens to the media object

lastly, I'm not sure where their bug tracker is, but it'd be good if you found/filed a bug in it and then included a link for it here (you can reference this bug when filing your bug to them if you like).

This bug was reported using a pre-release version of Firefox 4. Now that Firefox 4.0.1 final has been released, can you please update and retest your bug? A fresh profile would be a good starting place to test,
