Program crashes when trying to sort inbox by subject

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open program
2.Open inbox
3.Click on "subject" at top of column
Actual Results:  
I get the spinning Mac Beachball for a moment, then program crashes

Expected Results:  
Sorted inbox emails by subject

Sorts by Sender & date seem to work fine. Restarting program/rebooting computer have no effect on the problem.

dupe of bug #591143 but I can't close it because bug #591143 it's a security sensitive bug and I don't have related privileges.
Wayne can you close this issue?

bug 591143 is sec sensitive, so setting dependency so you get notified when it's state changes.
