User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; ru; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; ru; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 New version of United States English Spellchecker (5.0.0) was released today. In Firefox 3.6 it doesn't install properly (even in the clean profile). After installing dictionary and restarting Firefox, extension manager keeps asking to "restart to complete installation" no matter how many times I restarted Firefox. Installing old version (4.0.0) fixes the problem. The same applies to Thunderbird 3.0. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install addon (version 5.0.0) from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/3497/ 2. Extension Manager will ask you to restart Firefox. Click "Restart". 3. After Firefox restarts, go to menu Tools - Addons. Actual Results: Extension Manager still asks to restart Firefox to complete the instalation and United States English Spellchecker is marked as requiring Firefox restart. Expected Results: United States English Spellchecker should install successfully and Extension Manager shouldn't ask to restart anymore. According to the latest comments on addon page others have same problem
Addon author already fixed the problem.
