Build : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100921 Firefox/4.0b7pre

Since recent Minefield trunk, 3 messages are displayed in error console :
1. Could not read chrome manifest file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Minefield\extensions\{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}\chrome.manifest'. (bug 586610)
2. CoCreateInstance() FAILED.
3. Direct3D 9 DeviceManager Initialized Succesfully.
Driver: igdumdx32.dll
Description: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Version: 8.15.10.2202

The message #2 and #3 regression range is :
http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=bd474ff6f86c&tochange=fd13b6ce36bd
It is probably due to Direct3D that is enabled by default.
The message #3 is normal, but the message #2 seems to be abnormal.

I think it is different from bug 595481.

This bug really doesn't seem to have anything to do with bug 586610 aside from mentioning the error. There is no value in the dependency
No longer depends on: 586610

Reporting unrelated issues in one bug generally means you should close hte bug and start again with different bugs, it does not make it a meta bug.
This is due to NVidia 3D Vision not being present at systems. It's harmless, the way it's reported is probably unfortunate. I need to clean it up.

I have an Intel card, so what is the problem ?
We need to just get rid of the warning.

Hello, i do have NVidia card but having this message too on Windows XP SP3 (32-bit)

CoCreateInstance() FAILED.

Direct3D 9 DeviceManager Initialized Succesfully.
Driver: nv4_disp.dll
Description: NVIDIA GeForce GT 240
Version: 6.14.12.5896
i'd say it might be more of a problem than you realize. it's totally disabled many css functions on my beta 4-7 browser starting just after the recent update. besides that i'm at a loss. CoCreateInstance() FAILED.
www.mozilla.org : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555
this stuff shouldn't log to the console.

Also, this has nothing to do with CSS issues -- if something stopped working there, it's not this bug :/
