User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) After upgrading to the latest version of Firefox (3.6.10), all of the above problems occurred. Lack of backgrounds makes the black text almost impossible to read. The same thing happened yesterday to my desktop, which is also running Windows 7. Internet Explorer and all of my other programs are unaffected, as was the previous version of Firefox (3.6.9). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Firefox 2. 3. Actual Results: Backgrounds on the header, footer, toolbars and tabs are 100% transparent; the Minimize, Resize, and Close buttons are missing; Windows + M does not minimize the window. Expected Results: The software should have displayed correctly and included all of the components.

I'm getting this too for pre7 but JUST for the Window minimize, resize, and close buttons. It started occuring this a few days ago on my clean beta profile. When I go to the top of the window with the mouse cursor, they are there though. Is this a new feature?
Jason, do you still experiencing this issue? If yes, can you please attach a screenshot? David, your issue should be a different one. If it is not fixed meanwhile please file a new bug.

Not experiencing the problem with version 3.6.13. Shortly after encountering this problem in September 2010, attempted to reinstall; to uninstall and reinstall; to run in safe mode; to tweak settings in Firefox; and to tweak settings in Norton Internet Security and firewall. None of these worked and I started using the 4.x Beta, which worked fine. Out of curiosity I downloaded and installed 3.6.13 a few days ago and it works fine.
Thanks Jason. Lets close this bug as WFM then. If the issue returns feel free to reopen the bug.
