Please update the Firefox 4 Beta home page for the Beta 7 release. The update we'd like to do is inspired by this page: http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/beta/ I want to change the third box (as referenced in the attached screenshot). I'd like it to have the same twitter functionality as what the mobile page (on trunk) has, although they added twitter in box 2 and I would like it in box 3. This is what the box should say: "Spread the Word" [Tweets] 1) I just downloaded Firefox 4 Beta ! CTA: Tweet this! 2) I'm trying out Firefox 4 beta because... CTA: Tweet this! 3) Placeholder copy: Customize your Firefox 4 Beta tweet! CTA: Tweet this! [Under the box] Facebook share this page link Facebook Like button [Text below tweet box:] Help us make Firefox 4 Beta even better. After installing, click on the feedback button to tell us what you think! Learn more about the beta" [Learn more link to: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/features/]

Hi Stephen--awesome! Only see some slight changes: Could you please take out the "#fxmobile" hashtag in the second box and replacing with "#fx4". The blurb at the very bottom says" Help us make Firefox 4 Beta for mobile even better. After installing, click on feedback button to tell us what you think!" Can you please edit to say" Help us make Firefox 4 Beta even better. After installing, click on feedback button to tell us what you think!" Thank you! Otherwise, looks really nice!

Sorry, that was sloppy on my part and I thought I had removed all mobile references. Those two changes have been made in r75151

The "More information" link under "Install the Beta" links to http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/#privacy, which doesn't go anywhere.

qawanted is a keyword, not a whiteboard status.

verified on stage http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/#privacy
Keywords: qawanted → push-needed
(In reply to comment #9) > verified on stage > http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/#privacy Doesn't validate to its doctype, so I filed bug 604189.

Production page doesn't validate, that needs a separate bug
(In reply to comment #12) > Production page doesn't validate, that needs a separate bug It is bug 604189, which still validates on trunk, so if that's been pushed to prod, not sure why it's not validating.
Verified FIXED; this has come and gone.
