Hey guys, 

As a part of the ResponSys sign up process, we've been asked to create a thank you e-mail. I was hoping we could use some of the design elements from the newsletter template to keep things simple (clearly not all of it, but some of the bigger elements). 

Let me know if that would be possible.

This ought to be doable, but it probably won't be with Lee...he's pretty booked at the moment.

Eve would like to move us over to ResponSys for September 30 and I'm waiting for feedback on sample copy (and the parameters of the ResponSys system), but as place holder I offer:

This looks great, Eve.  I don't know if we need to reiterate our own "unsubcribe" text then in the body of the confirmation since this will appear below.  I think it's standard to look to the bottom of the email for this information and we don't need to spend our welcome language on duplicating the message.

Eve or Chelsea, is there an existing TY email we should model this after? I feel like there is, but can't remember what it is or quite what it looks like.

Chelsea has done a redesign of the Drumbeat newsletter style, and it might be nice if the thank you note banner or "look" matched that style.   

The other choice is the dark blue banner and light blue background that we have been using for mozilla & you newsletter.

I don't think we should have so many links in our standard confirmation note, perhaps just a top banner (with "Drumbeat" or something similar in it)

Plus main body of a paragraph (Thank you for subscribing ...) 

Plus the legalese /unsubscribe below the line in fine print.
