On http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/newsletter/, we should do:

<option value='us' selected>United States</option>

(I think -- if my memory serves correctly.)

So that United States is selected by default.
Gah; I missed this everywhere (/participate, etc.)  Let me know if you want separate bugs for those.
Per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=576413#c72, looks like we don't need to make this change after all.
