User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17 i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20001107
BuildID: 20001107
whenever i go to a page that requires a plugin, the plugin download screen comes
up then it freezes and i have to kill
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open browser
2.go to a page that would require a plugin
3.try to click on anything
Actual Results: it crashed and i had to kill
Expected Results: it shouldve dled the plugin and installed it
Shrirang, looks like a dup of what we have with this default plugin not going
away after clicking OK.
Reporter, would you please describe the exact sequence of events?
here is a more exact sequence for reproduction.
1. open browser in window maker
2. go to a page that requires a plugin (i.e. Mozillazine)
3. when it asks if you would like to download and install the plugin (java in
this case, but it happens with all plugins) click ok
4. when the plugin screen pops up, click on the appropriate plugin
5. one of 2 things will occur...
a. you wont be able to click on anything in any mozilla window
b. if/when you can click on the appropriate plugin, nothing happens and
mozilla crashes (i know nothin is happening cause i have my ppp
monitor up and it shows no activity)
