But when getting into the email body text I can not see what is being typed. The email can be sent after I type is and who ever I send it to can read what I have typed but I can not. This started this afternoon. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open T-Bird 2.start new or reply to email 3.
Please Robert, could you answer to comment #1?

Not sure as how to get into safe mode. I have found that the problem shows up when someone sends an email that has Animation email attached to it. If the email is deleted and than T-bird is restarted the problem seems to go away.
(In reply to comment #3) > Not sure as how to get into safe mode. If you are in Windows XP simply go to start-->all programs and search for Thunderbird. You have the default launcher ("Thunderbird") and the safe-mode launcher ("Thunderbird (safe mode)"): start TB in safe mode and tell us what you see!
