User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010081818 Camino/2.0.4 (like Firefox/3.0.19) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010081818 Camino/2.0.4 (like Firefox/3.0.19) Since upgrading to the latest version of Camino, I have trouble consistently getting basic functions to work. Often, if I logout and back in it fixes itself, but I don't have time to do this all day long. The problem is so bad, I want to return to the earlier version, in spite of being browbeaten for the last several weeks to upgrade. The first of the two sites I listed is my company's online database. It is FULL of drop down menus and I can't access any of them!! The second is obviously Yahoo mail. None of the buttons work. I can't access anything in button form--send, reply, Check mail, etc. Links seem to work fine if double clicked, but that's irritating too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Since both are password protected, I'm not sure how to help you reproduce this problem. Perhaps we should communicate. I signed into Magazine Manager and opened a data sheet through a typed field. None of the drop down menus would even open. They are highlighted, but nothing happens when clicked. I logout and log back in. Now they work. Actual Results: I signed into Magazine Manager and opened a data sheet through a typed field. None of the drop down menus would even open. They are highlighted, but nothing happens when clicked. I logout and log back in. Now they work. Expected Results: Well, it happened all day yesterday so it's what I expected. However, I suppose this is asking for my expectation without the problem. Before the upgrade I had absolutely ZERO trouble with any field, button or link on any site. I'd rather just return to the working version than have to put up with a buggy one. Well, drop down menus should open. Buttons should be clickable. Links should open in a web browser on a single click.
Sorry, the new version wasn't available in the list. It's Camino 2.0.4. I'm not sure if it is "Always" reproducible--I missed that choice. However, so far it has reproduced every time I've reopened Camino since installing the upgrade yesterday.
If you open a new tab, then close it (or switch to a different tab, then switch back), without logging out/logging back in, do the sites work? This sounds like some of the mysterious focus issues we've been seeing occasionally.
I actually haven't thought of trying that. OK, let me restart everything (once I logout and back in it seems to work for a while so I will have to try to reproduce from the top, so to speak). One question--when you say "switch tabs" do you mean open the same site in a different tab?
The site you open shouldn't matter; simply opening a new tab (even with a blank page) and then switching back to the original tab or closing the new tab should be enough to fix the focus problem, if that's what this is.
I'll try it--of course now I CAN'T reproduce the problem! haha I'll keep you posted.
Sarah, any updates on this? Are you (hopefully!) still unable to reproduce it? If so, it's probably safe to close this as WORKSFORME.

I'm going to assume this WORKSFORME now, but if you're able to reproduce it with a recent nightly, feel free to reopen this bug with new information.
