Since browsers are not interpreting HTML in tooltips, we must never feed HTML content to title attributes. In the screenshot above, I was getting some HTML on the tooltip, because the translation comment contained some HTML content.
I am going to assign this particular bug to Dwayne Bailey. It's likely that this bug should be filed in http://bugs.locamotion.org/ so if that is the case, I'll let Dwayne comment here. Thanks for filing.

I can't reproduce this on Pootle 2.1.1, Verbatim is running 2.0. So this bug seems to be fixed on newer version of Pootle.
https://localize.mozilla.org/about.html says verbatim is now on Pootle 2.1.6 is this still a problem or can we close?
I had a look at the same string and the problem isn't there any more. The specific comment seems to have changed, so that might be related, but I don't think we've seen this recently. For now I'm marking as fixed. Tomer, if you hit this issue again, feel free to reopen the bug.
