Since browsers are not interpreting HTML in tooltips, we must never feed HTML content to title attributes.
In the screenshot above, I was getting some HTML on the tooltip, because the translation comment contained some HTML content.

I can't reproduce this on Pootle 2.1.1, Verbatim is running 2.0. So this bug seems to be fixed on newer version of Pootle.

https://localize.mozilla.org/about.html says verbatim is now on Pootle 2.1.6
is this still a problem or can we close?

I had a look at the same string and the problem isn't there any more. The specific comment seems to have changed, so that might be related, but I don't think we've seen this recently. For now I'm marking as fixed. Tomer, if you hit this issue again, feel free to reopen the bug.
