Build Identifier: Thunderbrid 3.1.4

Since the latest update of Thunderbird i cannot further see my Mails (received and sent)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Mails are not shown by every start of Thunderbird
2.
3.
Actual Results:
No mails
Can you check you firewall settings ?
While installing ten update, there were two Firewalls working on my computer:
Windows and McAfee. After deactivating Windows (XP) firewall, the Mails didn´t reappear anyway.
Do you get error messages ?

Are you suing pop or imap ?
deactivating a firewall doesn't stop it from blocking.
The windows Firewall is however safe and isn't known to cause problems. Most other firewalls on the other side are known to cause such problems.

Reset the thunderbird setting in the McAfee Firewall.

When I try to input my password I get the error message: "Fehler beim Senden des Passworts. Der Mail-Server pop3.alice-dsl.net antwortete: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password."
I am using and was using pop3.
Werner, do you still see this problem?
if you no longer see problem on newer release, please change resolution to WORKSFORME.
if you do see the problem on newer release, please update the bug with details.
