When I take an email and edut as new - especially if it has an attachment - make changes - e.g. delete attachment - change one recipient - add new attachment

Get message can not Save error - and when try to send says error can not send - that happens about 50% of the time 

If I try to add a new email address and maybe go down to far in list with 2-3 letters typed - Thunderbird cashes ...

have never noticed any of this with any other mode (reply forward reply all) - just edit as new and that is usually from send mailbox

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Edit as new
2. use email from send box, with attachment 
3 [review]. delete attachment - add new attachmnet and change few email addresses
4. Try to save or send 
Actual Results:  
Says error can not save 

Expected Results:  
should send email or save as draft 


Thanks great work - this is a very useful feature and I have spent hours sometimes redoing an email on crash - I now always cope and save when I use Edit as new - just happend to me three times in a row - gave up and re-enterd everything in by hand

there is a bug or two about drafts with attachments not consistently saving and/or crashing. Perhaps related / should be easy to find.

and do you see this problem when using version 3.1?
(version 2 is out of maintenance)
