When I click on link to a file type which is handled by a helper
application, e g pdf files by Adobe Reader or the Document viewer or
rtf files by OpenOffice, the Helper Application opens the file as it
should. However SeaMonkey also download the file to the default
download folder.
Since Adobe Reader has no plugin for Mac, I have to use Adobe Reader as
helper application. With this behaviour my default download folder soon
gets cluttered with pdf files
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a link to a file type which is selected to be opened by a helper application
Actual Results:
The file is opened by the helper application and a copy of the file is downloaded to the default download folder.
Expected Results:
The file should not be download to the default download location but to the Cache or a temporary folder.
