59984 - Subscribe: crash when switching server during get groups process

Using 11-08 (RTM) commercial branch on Win98, Mac OS 9.0

A crash occurs when you switch to another server and back in the subscribe
dialog while in process of getting newsgroups list for large news server.

1.  You have a profile with two news accounts ("news" and "news.mozilla.org"),
you haven't yet accessed subscribe dialog, haven't gotten groups list for the
two servers.  One of the news servers is a large group list, say our main news
server.
2.   Select the "news" server, File|Subscribe.
     Subscribe dialog opens and begins the process of getting the newsgroups list.
3.   While the get groups process is ongoing, switch the server dropdown to the
other news server. Its list is retrieved (it is a much smaller group list) and
shows in the subscribe dialog.
4.   Switch the dropdown back to the main "news" server.  As group list begins
to appear crash occurs.
