I have a mouse and when I PRESS the scroll wheel to get the mouse to scroll mode a scroll icon appears (circle with arrows pointing up and down). If there is text behind this icon the text is grabbed and moved with the scroll icon. Example: if there are my icon is over the upper half of a word only the upper half (paritial) letter graphics are grabbed. Or if I have a capital D and the scroll icon is to the left of the D only slightly touching the left hand side the icon would grab |
The icon would then retain this graphic until I would disengage scroll mode (thereby eliminating the icon
Reproducible: Always

1. Click the scroll wheel button over text
2. Move mouse up and down
3. You'll see that the icon will now be what ever text was behind the scroll wheel.
