When using the Hotmail/Windows Live Calendar, the popups (e.g. for editing appointments) either do not appear at all, or appear as a blank box the full width of the window.

Works on IE on the same machine.

All popup and script blockers are disabled.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login to hotmail
2. go to calendar
3. click any appointment
Actual Results:  
blank box the full width of the window appears. It does have a 'close' cross in the top right.

Expected Results:  
The 'edit' popup should appear and let me edit the entry.

Hovering over the new weather popup does nothing at all (should display additional details). Hovering over a day box does not bring up the 'Add' link as it should (nothing happens).

Would like to know if this problem is widespread. Could probably equally be hotmail's problem.
