User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; nl; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; nl; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100915 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1.4

When you startup Thunderbird and press the Today pane, it is shown in full width (which is correct). It can be closed, re-opened, mail can be written, etc. without disortion of the view of the pane. If the Calendar button is pressed, the Calendar shows up in a new tab; close the tab and the Today pane is only seen partly (not with the full width).
This happens when the Thunderbird-window is fairly compact/small.
Situation is reset after a restart of Thunderbird.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Thunderbird with Lightning
2. Make the window compact (as seen on screenshot (url-link)
3. Press Today pane button: shows ok; normal full width
4. Press Calendar button and close the Calendar and return to TB main view
5. Today Pane is no longer seen in full width
6. Restart Thunderbird to reset.
Actual Results:
Today Pane is no longer seen in full width

Expected Results:
Expected to see the normal width
Version: unspecified → Lightning 1.0b2
Perhaps duplicate of bug 520738?
