UI stuff:

Edit Description section of edit form is initially hidden except on new articles. When it's shown, put a separate Save button at the bottom of it. It's a little confusing, but the confusion will be limited to our 70 localization leads.

If you have no privs, the Edit Description section is just gone.

Hey Eric, is there anything to look at already? I'd love to see how the worflow looks visually. With 70 localizers there's lots of room for confusion. 70 localizers == at least 70 different native languages ;)

Hi, Kadir. Chowse has many wireframes up at http://people.mozilla.com/~chowse/drop/sumo/kb/v7/ (wireframes only--not to be construed as "look and feel"). Some requirements have changed since those were made, but those are what I'm using to guide my work. I think we have our up-to-the-minute development version up on a staging server, but as far as visual accuracy, there's not much to look at yet: since we're waiting for a third party to deliver visual designs for the site, we've been deferring almost all styling, so it pretty much looks like a jumble of content at the moment.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant the UI for changing document titles, and I understand now what you mean. But won't that affect all editors of the KB, even for the English articles? Also, I'm not sure, but the save button would still affect the whole page, right? That might be a bit confusing indeed.

Chowse is going to do some fresh mocks of that page in the near future; that should clear everything up. The points of confusion I was concerned about affect only the locale leads.
