Details

There's a notification for background events, "addons-background-update-complete", but no notification for manual updates.
I don't really know why we'd do this.
So an add-on knows when updates are happening? Sounds like WONTFIX per comment 1. http://hg.mozilla.org/labs/sigma/rev/7a42629aeae3#l1.34 Bug 600314 does this by hooking into AddonUpdateChecker.checkForUpdates for now.
