Please see bug 591398 for more details, especially the final comments.
In the patch (https://bug591398.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=477707) we use Browser:HideTabView and Browser:ShowTabView for getting in and out of Panorama. We should be using those commands in other parts of the UI.

Both Browser:HideTabView and Browser:ShowTabView don't exist in the trunk now.
