Note the "St" in Stephen and "ro" in Chromatic. http://grab.by/grabs/9fbaf1def8a32a71f3c89b94da40248c.png I also see some odd spacing in the word Firefox, which appears periodically in my tabstrip: http://grab.by/grabs/d4411af3502fa9c49a047aae25667bf7.png The "re" are too close for a PG theme, and "fo" have this heartbreaking chasm between them.
1) Does disabling dwrite help? 2) Does putting: * { -moz-font-feature-settings: "liga=0" } in your userChrome.css help?
dwrite isn't enabled for me (some driver issue I'm sure). Changing summary because it also appears in the search box (though not in the URL bar). I'll try userChrome in a bit.
Summary: letters in tabstrip cuddle too closely → letters in chrome cuddle too closely (kerning, text)
Severity: normal → S3
