As soon as you enable D3D10 layers in the Windows x64 latest build (04-10-10), it breaks the build. Crashes the build and exits inmediately. No crash messages at all.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Win x64 Minefield latest build (04-10-10)
2. Enable D3D10 Layer
Actual Results:
Minefield crashes inmediately, no messages, no nothing.

Expected Results:
As in the 32 bit builds, it should work fine

So, I believe the code I wrote here was quite silly and 64-bit unsafe! This patch should fix it, I don't have a 64 bit build but if anyone can confirm this works I'll request review and check it in.
I can't confirm either way until the mozjs/JIT crash is fixed in x64.
Summary: Enable D3D10 breaks the build → Enable D3D10 breaks the 64-bit build

Mr. Schouten, as I know you're one of the developers for graphics and layers, I invite you to check bug 601603 (that is another one I filed and does happen in 32 bits ;-)
