User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100929 Firefox/4.0b7pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100929 Firefox/4.0b7pre Tricky to explain. :-/ Doesn't even happen every time, nor do I know which criteria there are which decide whether the menu will be accessible or not. With several tabs open, it's sometimes necessary to close some of them because FF will go up 200 Meg memory use in no time (maximum was 650 Meg!!) It usually happens if you are surfing on web sites with a LOT of Flash stuff running. That's when I encountered the issue described below. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: - Browse with Firefox 4 beta. - Create LOTS of tabs from web links (though 7 or 8 might already do) - Check whether you can access the tab-specific context menu (Reload tab...Close Tab, 9 items in total) on *ALL* of the tabs. Actual Results: There are (rare) cases where the drop-down menu is accessible via RIGHT mouse button for ALL tabs, but there are frequent cases where you can press the button as much as you wish, with EXACTLY ONE (!) tab the menu won't appear. Expected Results: Drop-down menu must appear with ALL tabs, independently of conditions whatsoever. "Workaround" is (built-in method) - to open a new tab and manually "assign" the URL of the "broken" tab (i. e. the one with the non-working context menu) to the newly opened tab - duplicate the tab using Twanno's Duplicate Tab extension, then delete the original "broken" tab https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/28/ (need to modify install.rdf and "fake" the version!)

Update to this: I found out that it's usually the leftmost tab which is affected (no context menu opening)
Are you able to close one of the open tabs which do not respond to the right menu click?
Yes that _is_ possible. I can close 100% of them. Only problem is that for the leftmost tab (at least usually it's the one on the far left) there's no context menu.
Can you please re-test in Safe Mode or with a fresh profile? This could be an extension related problem.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 WFM in Latest Nightly (build ID: 20130813155809). If someone else is able to reproduce it, please reopen this issue.
