I don't think this should block tonight's release, but here's a case where some special characters (in this case, a music note), don't display:

♪ is what it comes out as.

It should appear as ♪.

This seems to be fixed in the modern SUMO. I just tested it by copying the music note from comment 0 and pasting it in a tweet. It showed up fine on AoA.
