User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 YFF35 Firefox/3.6 GTB7.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 YFF35 Firefox/3.6 GTB7.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) 1- I do not close firefox and my computer for days at office. 2 - And I surf , do anything ( facebook , yahoo mail , ... ) 3- After a few days or some time , firefox uses a very big amount of memory ( 1 GB ) although i only have one tab open ( www.google.com for example ) and it starts to work very slowly of course because of memory. 4- Then of course i close the application to release the memory. 5- The application is closed. But it is still seen in process list with 1GB memory usage. 6- When i try to reopen the application it does not open. So i have to go and kill the 1GB firefox process first than reopen the application. Problem1 : The closing does not work correctly in this case. Problem2 : Although I just have www.google.com , it still uses 1GB memory . Memory is not release in all this time duration. Reproducible: Always
