* The about page:  http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/about/  Copy is below. Lee:  Can you create an image for this based on the first run/what's new promo?

Copy:

Header:  Spread the word!
Description:  Love Firefox? Get in on the action by taking a minute to help.

* The about nav column that appears when you drill down on an "About" item.  See examples:

Hey Mary,
See the attached mockup. I used this About page show you the promo in 3 diff areas (just to clarify, did you need all three?)

- promo for the main content 
- promo for right column area
- promo for footer

Mary, can you clarify where this should go? It seems really redundant to have the hand promo in two pages on the same page.

Hey there:  The hand promo should go in the main content area (below the logo guide + next to contact us).

There is separate task for Buchanan and that is just adding the word "Participate" to the About column.

Hey Mary, really sorry for all the delay, we'll get this wrapped up asap.

Just checking, I see the same promo in the content area and the sidebar.  We should ignore the sidebar promo, right?

Also, I believe bug 602060 is a duplicate of this bug, right?

Actually, on that note, does it even make sense to have it in the footer?  I need clarity on how these promos are supposed to work.  

BTW, if what you're thinking is that the footer/sidebar promo show up on every page under the /about/ section of the site, that's non-trivial, and I'd like to avoid trying to set that up.  In that case, I'd suggest we drop the sidebar promo, implement the footer promo site-wide, and make it randomly rotate with the email promo.

r76480 adds the promo to the content area.  Still waiting for confirmation on rotating the footer promo with the email newsletter promo.

Raymond, could you QA the change I made, and test multiple browsers please?  I had to tweak the CSS slightly.

Eek - my bad!  Let's not rotate it.  The newsletter is tied to a Q4 goal :)  Let's let it have all the love.

The page header is related to a different, performance bug.  I won't be pushing that for this bug.
