602609 - Bocoup needs IP max connections exception for IRC

Alistair MacDonald notified ircadmins@ that Bocoup was in need of an IP connection limit exception for IRC. He states that around 10 people at a time are wishing to connect to IRC, so probably need the limit to be 20-30 to make room for ghosts and growth.

When I try to connect I get the message... 

"Throttled: Reconnecting too fast"

(Even when I first come in, in the morning.)

I assume this is probably because other computers from this same static IP are also connecting. Additionally, our internet was upgraded recently, which probably caused many re-connections as new hardware was being installed. Perhaps this plays into the situation somehow?

Hi Justin, 

Bocoup just moved offices and our new IP is: "75.150.66.254". We are currently contracting with Mozilla but unfortunately only 2 of us are able to log in to Mozilla's IRC server at any one time.

Could we get this IP added to your list?
