It is a residual crash signature that exists in 3.0, 3.5, 3.6 and trunk builds.
It happens at start-up.
It seems to be linked to russian sites.

This signature is significantly on the rise in both 3.6 and 4.0 in yesterday's data.

It's #16 top crasher in 10.0.

In 9.0.1 (not enough data in 10.0), there's a small correlation to PowerStrip which is a graphic monitoring tool (see http://entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm):

Interesting, thanks for that info! It sounds like these libraries probably hook File I/O somehow, and cause us to crash while doing innocuous I/O. It'd be helpful if someone from QA could investigate. I think the only solution here would probably be to add them to the DLL blocklist.

69% of crashes are not caused by Punto Switcher or VKSaver.
For VKSaver, it's not possible to blocklist it. See bug 614966 comment 55.
