Typically around one minute to complete.  Has been this way for at least a year; I've always updated when new versions become available.

Inbox currently has 186 messages in it.  Targets vary, few to perhaps 1000.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select message in inbox.  Can be any message, with or without attachments, short or long.
2. Drag to Local Folder
3. Wait for dashed rectangle on cursor to disappear before trying anything else.
Actual Results:  
Takes about 1 minute for rectangle to disappear.  Cannot move anymore messages until it does.

Expected Results:  
Expect to be able to move additional messages immediately.  

Windows XP, Athlon 64 X2, 2GB memory.

so any size message even small? and even for a single message?
what antivirus software do you run?
