(No exact duplicate bug has been found.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. save messages to send later 2. send them (so that none remain) 3. observe size of file 'Local Folders\Unsent Messages' Actual Results: 'Unsent Messages' grows constantly (has been observed to exceed 20MB). Expected Results: File size should be reduced to zero. To fix: delete 'Unsent Messages' and 'Unsent Messages.msf' files (they will be re-created when required). The file is occasionally compacted randomly (???)
Somewhere along the line this problem has been silently fixed (or just gone away...). In SeaMonkey 2.0.11 it now works correctly (both with 'File' -> 'Compact folders' for 'Local Folders' and also with a right-click on 'Unsent messages' -> 'Compact this folder'). Thanks to Anon
