I can reproduce a hang pasting content into a textarea type of form field on the spamcop.net site. The origin of the copied text is the source of a spam e-mail message received in Gmail.

1. Copy the content out of the attached file.
2. Paste the content into the textarea for reporting e-mail at spamcop.net.

Extra Details: I was logged into spamcop.net at the time.

Actual Results: The graphics may or may not update to indicate the end of the copied text. The Firefox user interface becomes unresponsive, but Process Explorer indicates that other threads are still doing work. The wait chain analysis done by the Windows 7 Resource Monitor indicates it is waiting on network activity. Firefox also still responds to the shutdown message from Windows when I log off, so it doesn't prevent logging off or shutting down.

Expected Results: There should be no hang, and Firefox should remain responsive.

To clarify, my machines is x86_64 but Firefox is the x86 version. Version string is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10
