Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101013 Firefox/4.0b8pre
Crash happens every few minutes for over 1 week. Renders any attempts at normal browsing useless.
No pattern seen. Crashes at random times. Can be on any page, doing anything, or not even with mouse focus in Firefox when it happens.
100's of reports not counted on crash-stats.mozilla.com over the past week. They are submitted with the crash reporter but very few make it into crash-stats. The totals should be much much higher just from the reports submitted from my computer. Close to 500 for 4.0b7pre and 4.0b8pre 64-bit on OS X.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. No pattern seen, other than it crashes very frequently at random times.
2.
3.
Might be related to Bug 602914

Not every crash report is analyzed. The server load would be to high.
Is this report about the crashes or the crash reports on the server ?
Please post a few example crash IDs (~5) from about:crashes

I have a very similar if not the same problem, I find that my browser crashes with no real real rhyme nor reason, but one thing I can say is that if I take even one moment without doing anything, such as to take a bite to eat or think about what I want to say in an email message, then I loose my chance to do it at all. My Browser freezes.
The second difference is that I get NO crash report, it simply stays that way. Despite the fact that nothing is happening, there is no message that states that Mozilla is not responding, and there is NO CRASH REPORT. The closest I come to getting anything is a window that says Windows will send something off to Microsoft to check into the problem or something along those lines.
Like the other individuals, I am finding this a very difficult situation to deal with because every time I turn the computer on to look online for something, there is a problem and it crashes.
PLEASE FIX THIS SOON!!!

Robin: you should try https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Troubleshoot_extensions_and_themes and the following sections on that page.
kiwiplant: feel free to reopen after you post the crash IDs, since there's nothing that can be done with the report other than suggesting that you too should try troubleshooting steps from support.m.o, if you haven't done so yet.

I have a similar problem. Firefox 4 worked for several days and now crashes quite often. No pattern seen

jblack1@peoplepc.com: similar isn't the same and that means that you should create your own bug report.
CC me to the bug and be sure to add a valid crash id from about:crashes in your report.
