Noticed this aspect of my interaction with the History menu, thought it would be worth capturing. I inevitably want to go back to the 11th item in my History, which isn't displayed in the menu. Show All History is clunky and unwieldy; two more clicks and an extra window to find the item I want. My modern LCD display isn't lacking in space. If I had my way, I'd hit about:config, find browser.history.displayedEntries, and change it to 30 from 10. 10 is fine as a default to avoid crowding new users. This bug: make a config entry for this limit, and make the History menu obey it. (If I get really motivated, I'll grab this for myself...!)
This has previously been filed in 2008 and wontfixed in 2009 "due to the dearth of requests for this, and the existence of the workarounds in comment #1.": bug 448427.
