I am not sure what this bug means. Visible where? Profile Manager window needing scroll bars?
Grace, This talks about making the newly created profile visible as an selected item in the profilemanager window, if the number of the profiles is more than number profilemanager window can show without scrollbars. I think the number of profiles profilemanager window can show without scrollbars is around 7 or 8. So, when you create the 9th profile, that profile should be visible to the user in the profile manager window being selected. Until now, we needed to scroll down to see if that profile has been added (though we know it happens) and selected.

to test this fix, try this: mozilla -CreateProfile a0 mozilla -CreateProfile a1 mozilla -CreateProfile a2 ... mozilla -CreateProfile a10 now start up mozilla and select the a10 profile, then quit. the next time you start up, a10 will be selected *and* it will be visible (to the user) in the list of profiles. before this fix, we would have selected it, but the selection would be out of view.
