Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6 When you have your computer set up behind a proxy server which requires authentication with each initial connection (once per browser session), the authentication is repeatedly required for every letter you type in the Google search toolbar (the one included by default in Firefox). So for the search term 'plugin' you have to enter the Proxy Authentication details 6 times. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up the computer behind a Proxy Server which requires authentication with each connection. 2. Start Firefox with a local site (one that does not require proxy authentication) for example an intranet site 3.Enter text in the search toolbar Actual Results: For each letter typed, the proxy authentication dialog reappears. Expected Results: Only request the login credentials once with the first external access. (This issue is due to the toolbar's search suggestion functionality). This is a clean default installation without any customization.
