The first two tests from comment 0 are a regression w.r.t. Firefox 3.6, so (at least as far as they're concerned) this isn't a dupe.

Since this test uses <image>, I'm guessing this might be the same root problem as bug 605420, and I'm hoping bug 604723's patch fixes them both...  (building right now to test that theory)

Yup, bug bug 604723's patch fixes the regressing tests.  Duping to that bug.
