User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; Tablet PC 2.0; MS-RTC EA 2; InfoPath.2; .NET4.0C) Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.1.5 Replying to some emails when in View Message Body as Original HTML produces an empty message area that you can't type in. Is nasty because is then carries over to all other email 'Reply' and 'Write'. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open email from sender X. only certain received emails from one source 2. hit reply 3. Actual Results: unable to type in message area of this and any other subsequent email replies or new email writes Expected Results: to be able to reply To clear the 'carry over', I close all emails, exit/start Thunderbird. I have found that if I change from View Message Body as Original HTML, to Simple HTML, I don't have this issue. This only happens with emails from one sender. I could forward an email to you from this sender.

This sounds like a dup of bug 525359 Reporter, can you view the source of the message and see if contenteditable="true" is in there. This most often happens with mail from "Incredimail"
(In reply to comment #1) > This sounds like a dup of bug 525359 > Reporter, can you view the source of the message and see if > contenteditable="true" is in there. > This most often happens with mail from "Incredimail" No, contenteditable="true". What I found for contenteditable: contentEditable=3Dtrue width=3D= "100%"> Did look and it is from "Incredimail", so sounds like duplicate. Don't see a solution, darn.
