Currently on the site we have a separate page (and link on the side bar) for each of the press kits. We'd like to organize these better by folding them under one link in the side nav, with sub-links to the individual pages. So the link will simply read "Press Kits", and by default open to the one for Desktop Firefox. We'll then have another link for the "mobile" kits. Let me know if you have any questions.

Pages for Desktop Press Kits:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/press/kit-3-6.html
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/press/kit-4b.html

Pages for Mobile Press Kits:

Looks good, thanks!

Hi lee

Could you please make some quick edits to this page? I didn't realize that the navigation had changed, and I don't think it's very clear. So, lets use the same tabbed approach that we've got with the Media Library and have two tabs at the top of this section: one for desktop, and one for mobile. With the one for desktop open by default. That should help make it easier for people to understand what press kits are available and what they're looking at.

Hopefully that's a relatively quick edit for you to make. Sorry about that. really appreciate it.

no worries. stay tuned...
Thanks Lee for spinning this up so quickly. The tabbed structure is definitely better, but the way these are presented , in separate pages, still doesn't make for easy navigation. It's not clear how we get from page to page and what's available under each tab. So, instead of having each press kit on a separate page, lets have sections for each under "desktop" and "mobile". For example, under desktop, there's a highlighted section for "firefox 3.6", and there's a section for "firefox 4", with all the relevant links listed in each section. Same for mobile. Does that make sense?

I'd also order the tabs to show "desktop" first, since that's the default one open, and then mobile.

Thanks again.
agreed tara, sorry about that haphazard turnaround. i should've looked more clearly to that interaction. would you like both press kit options to be open simultaneously per section?

ie:
MOBILE
- Android (surfaced)
- N900 (surfaced)

DESKTOP
- 3.6 (surfaced)
- 4 beta (surfaced)
Thanks Lee. Yes, that's exactly right. Just create different sections within the mobile and desktop tab to surface those pieces. Kind of like how the image library is being designed with different logo types surfaced under the logo tab. But please place the order of the tabs with Desktop first, and then Mobile.

Thanks!
Have a look at these, Tara.
Since both items are consolidated into either Desktop or Mobile section, they'll need to share a common subheader to the page. I used a general one that I had for Mobile, and Greek'd the Desktop version. It might be a little weird to have the subheader change if you tab from Desktop to Mobile, so we may want to come up with a catch-all subhead.

Thanks Lee. Layout looks great. How about we make that "Mozilla Press Kits" plural, and sub-head be "An easy guide to all things Firefox"
Looks great. Thanks Lee. Only nit I have is that "reference materials" under "android" seems to be really low on the page, the gap inbetween the sections seems like a lot and it's not equal to the others. but, no biggie... I think we can fix that in webdev. or if you can just nudge that up higher before PSD-ing that'd be great. We're done here :)
Good eye. That was just an extra return in there for some reason...

OK - updating the PSD and the JPGS on the network now.

Thanks Lee. Closing the bug again.
