User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; pl; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 BTRS86335 Firefox/3.6.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; pl; rv:1.9.2.11) Gecko/20101013 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1.5

Provider:GData : V0.71
When particular task from google calendar is clicked in lightning, the simple read-only window with couple of basic data shows up instead of full form allowing to fill up task information. The window contains information like:
* Name, start, end, person responsible (in Polish - organizator),link to google calendar like http://www.google.com/calendar/event?eid=.. (where .. - it's hash-based identifier of the event as I suspect)
Screenshot: http://cinik.eu/mozilla-zgloszenia.png

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to lightning
2. Wait until tasks are loaded from google calendar
3. dobule click on the tasks
Actual Results:
window as on screenshot appears

Expected Results:
I would expect a form where it's possible to fill up task details
Version: unspecified → Lightning 0.7
Version: Lightning 0.7 → Lightning 1.0b2
I can confirm this bug exists. When a Google Calendar is loaded in a Content Tab within Thunderbird the tasks pane does not load. The condition can be exhibited by loading a Google Calendar in a content tab via the error console or through the use of an add-on such a G-Hub Lite.
Christopher, Lightning can't do anything because Google Calendar doesn't allow external applications to access tasks. You need to ask Google to add this feature.

The bug is actually in the TB core/Content Tabs -- the action the user describes is not actually a lightning bug. Shall I post the Content Tab bug as another bug report or can this one be moved to TB core.
No. The original messenger has reported a problem with Lightning here. I suggest that if you are not using Lightning but some other extension you contact the corresponding extension authors and report the problem to them.
Indeed - I use addon to synchronize with google calendar. I just forgot to mention this important information - I was sure that this window belongs to Lightning, not add-on.

https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/thunderbird/addon/provider-for-google-calendar/

Thanks for support - I'll try to find maybe other addon.
