User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.11) Gecko/20101012 Firefox/3.6.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; de; rv:1.9.2.11) Gecko/20101012 Firefox/3.6.11 After automatically updating Firefox to version 3.6.11 the language of the UI (menus, preferences, even: add-ons like NoScript) changed to English. There is apparently no possibility to rechange the language in "Options..", as I only found a language option for website content displaying. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to get my old language (German) back? Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Updating to Firefox 3.6.11 2. Restarting Firefox for final updating Actual Results: The language of the UI changed to English. Expected Results: Remain the former language.

Do you use the Third-Party Personal security Inspector (PSI) beta Software ?
Yes. So PSI updated Firefox and not the automatic update?
I now reinstalled the German version and it works fine now. As it's not a bug of Firefox, I marked it as INVALID! Thank you very much for your help Matthias Versen!

The PSI2.0 beta updates a few applications as auto-update. This update is an external update and not a Firefox internal one and the PSI updates always to english at the moment. Secunia knows about the problem. You can disable the auto-update for Firefox in the PSI and use the internal update that is working better.
