Please remove the following survey from Mozilla.com. See this bug for details:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=594885

Please complete within the next 4 work days if possible (by 10/27/2010). Silver Orange helped put this up last time, maybe they can help again?

Extending the time on this since WebDev has just now been alerted. Lets aim to have this down by next Tuesday 11/2.
No worries. Steven said he can take care of this today. Thanks!

Done in trunk in r76364. Do we need QA to look at this before we push?

Merged to stage in r76365.
At the very least we need Laura F to verify the changes but I've cc'd Stephen as well.
Raymond is the mozilla.com QA lead. CC'ing him, adding 'qawanted' keyword

i have been testing on stage https://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/ and i haven't seen it popup yet. Since this is random, it is a bit hard to test.

Hi Raymond - Thanks for checking this. It was implemented to show on staging for I think close to 100% of staging hits. But on production it only showed to 5%. Since it's no longer showing on staging, I'm fairly confident it's been taken down.

The survey result log shows people submitting up to an hour ago. I'll keep an eye on it to make sure responses don't keep coming through tomorrow and we'll know for sure.

Anything with randomness like this is tricky to test. This was a pretty simple case where all of the JS to show the survey link was simply removed, so I think we're pretty safe.
