Hey Steven. Here's the PSD for the new first run page. Let me know if you have any questions about content, links, etc.

Awesome, thanks Steven. The page mostly looks great to me - the footer isn't working properly for me, though (in the Fx4 beta). Will attach a screenshot.

Also, we may need to change the main text block a bit before this goes to l10n, but nothing that will affect the dev process too much.

Please note: once this page is reviewed, I'll be converting most of the images in to inline Data-URLs in the CSS to cut down on HTTP requests.

Can you be more specific? That said, as this is an in-product page linked only from the product itself, I don't think browser compatibility is an issue. Sometimes it's nice to double check though, in case another browsers trips up on a bug that we might notice right away in Firefox.

The footer was broken in IE6. I become  so used to testing across browsers  that I even tested an in-product page in IE.

Reopening this for a few final tweaks. First, here's some revised copy for the main "Welcome" blurb:

Second, it pains me to say this, but I think the large Curly illustration will be pretty random for people given that he's been removed from the homepage. So, please remove him from this page as well. The longer term plan is to work him back into the homepage in a slightly more subtle way...when that happens I'd like to add him here as well.

Also, I know we talked about some functionality changes to the email signup area, but I agree that we should hold off on those until after the launch. But, we would like to make a few copy changes to that area. Here they are:

Since you're going to work on this, I'll note explicitly here that I broke this page today while merging for bug 614856.  Specifically, I broke the email form CSS and JS.  I should have it fixed tomorrow.
