This bug was created on my behalf as a branch off of the generic KernalBase.dll bug 530518.

I've had several other crahes that point to that same bug, and something that I've noticed is that the crash seems to be happening when I try to access the Panorama page while there's a nightly update pending.

It's hard to note as feedback since I don't find out about the update until after I restart the browser. However each time it seems to be a crash when accessing Panorama, and then an update when I restart.

I also don't know if it's specifically related to this bug here, since it was created a while back, and I don't remember the details of the crash that was branched for this. However the crash report (eg: ID: 772e00e7-37f8-4f5b-8c1b-7d3a42101217) also has D3D10 modules referenced in it.

May be a dupe of bug 612103.
Probably not, as I just had a repeat of the crash a few minutes ago (assuming the fix for the other bug has been checked in, and is active as of today's build): http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-7f8364ea-08b6-4e84-a753-2f4be2110119

Also, no pending update this time, so that speculation seems to be wrong. Still occurs when trying to access Panorama, though.
This is a dupe of another bug although I can't find it right now. I think we might need tot trap that exception and recover from it.
