My trackball does not work well in either Firefox or Thunderbird.  Other programs are fine.  After an initial period it will not respond to USB mouse clicks.  I can workaround the issue by resizing the windows or hitting the tab key or some combination of both.  VERY ANNOYING and affecting my ability to use the software.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open either Thunderbird or Firefox
2.Use program or let sit for 1hr.
3.Try to click links or tabs or buttons and it won't respond using two different Trackballs (both USB).
Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
Opened on links/buttons/tabs.

I thought is was an outdated trackball so I purchased a new Kensington USB item.  Still doesn't work correctly.
