There's been a big jump in spam on AMO (Mostly in comments) a "Report this user/comment" would be very useful, imo. (Sorry if I filed this in the wrong component!)
AMO has no commenting system. It has a review system, which all too many people think is for comments. (I even once had users arguing with eachother in mine) This has been requested many times, by myself as well. Each time the idea is resisted in favor of reporting only individual reviews (click the flag for review link on the full reviews page while logged in) or emailing the AMO editors list. You can report the individual review and theoretically that means that the whole user will get deleted, but the response time through that route hasn't been quite good yet. Last round of 50 spams I saw got cleaned up faster than the previous, so it is getting better. Supposedly the mythical new automated tools are being tuned, but until this crap can't even show up AT ALL I don't see much of an improvement.

QA Contact: admin-tools → web-ui
Summary: "Report this user/comment" feature → "Report this user" feature
Logged in, you know you can "Report this Review", right?
I don't really think that's an option. Most people only log in to write a review, but people who spot the fake "reviews" aren't usually logged in because they probably just want to read about the extension and not comment. I don't think people want to - or for that matter should be forced to - go through the hassle to register and log in just to report spam.
(I'm sure a different bug would be better for this) Would a captcha be a better option, if one doesn't exist? I didn't even see if you can report a review while logged in, because one would think that anon users would be the one to report. At that, as stated in Comment 4, people won't want to sign up to report spam once.
(In reply to comment #5) Allowing the same report review functionality without logging in but with a captcha sounds like a good idea. Yeah, I suggest you file a new bug for that.
We can use pretty much the exact same code from bug 546830, comment 8/9 - captcha if the person isn't logged in. Backend can just email amo-admins@mozilla.org. Let's put the link in the bottom right of "about me" at 11px font, no icons (thx chowse). -> andym since he has the other bug

Would like some copy above this form? For addon abuse this was added: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=609707

This seems to appear at the top left of the box instead of the bottom right. (I hard-refreshed my CSS) Let's add some copy: "Please describe why you are reporting this user, such as for spam or an inappropriate picture."

* Reporting a user * Reporting when not logged-in ** Recaptcha * breadcrumb * JS-disabled (611894) * /user-id/abuse * different locales * Reporting multiple times (612210) Zimbra chokes on the link in the email- https://addons-next.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2444/%29 since it appends the closing parenthesis. Since Gmail works fine, I am considering this an email-client bug Marking this verified.
